The return from fishing

Sainte-Marine is not a large fishing port as the port of Concarneau, Guilvinec or Loctudy can be. However, the port still welcomes a few artisanal fishing boats.

These are often one-person vessels that adapt their fishing and techniques to the season. It’s a resource-friendly approach to fishing that we particularly appreciate.

Some boats sell their catch directly in Sainte-Marine either at the boat’s exit like the Ton Jos or at the fish shop in the port like the Beluga. For locals and tourists alike, it is a great pleasure to be able to enjoy such fresh food without any intermediary. Thus, depending on the season, you will be able to taste sea bass, lobster, place, shrimps, crab, etc.
